Room needed for approx. 2 weeks a month

Easy going, considerate and well mannered professional looking for a room within short walking distance of a train station to commute to London.

I often travel abroad and within the UK so would only occupy the place for up to approximately 2 weeks within a month, usually with some weekends away during that time but not all of them.
Then the following 3 weeks or more I am away (longer around Christmas, New Year, Easter, summer holidays etc.).
This unusual situation is reflected in the budget but of course rent to be paid every month regardless of the room usage.

I always respect owners' property, privacy & rules, keep it clean and use energy & water sensibly as I used to own a property so I know first hand how costly that can be and how important it is to keep it in good order.

Decent broadband required as I work from home sometimes.

Access to washing machine, a little storage for kitchen utensils and some fridge/freezer space needed. I cook every few days but generally stick to healthy & simple meals.

Garage/parking not required - I don't own a car currently, however safe storage option for my bicycle would be great.

I don't smoke/vape and only occasionally drink socially.

I like pets and can help take care of them sometimes if needed.
