Looking for a room or friends to share a house!

Hi everyone,

I’m a 29-year-old professional working for a corporate company, and I’m looking for a double room from mid September onwards.

I’m ideally looking for a long-term home, rather than just somewhere to stay. It would be great to find a friendly and relaxed house where people have their own lives and routines, but also enjoy spending time together from time to time.

I work from the office Monday to Friday, and my office location can change, so being well connected and close to a Tube station is really important to me. I’d ideally like to be in Zone 1–2, but I’m definitely open to other areas with good transport links.

I’m clean, tidy and respectful of shared spaces. I’m not someone who is constantly at home, but I do enjoy having a chat, cooking together, watching something or grabbing a drink with my housemates. I think it’s nice when a house feels a bit more like a home and people actually get along, while still giving each other space.

I’m looking for a furnished double room, ideally not too small. Having a living room or a nice shared space is also important to me. I’d prefer a smaller household with no more than 3 other housemates.

I don’t have any preference regarding gender or sexual orientation. I’m also a big animal lover, so I’d be more than happy to live with pets.

My budget is up to £1000/month including bills, or around £900/month excluding bills.
