Looking for a room /buddy up in East London!

Hi everyone! My name is Yanisha, I'm 26, and I currently work in digital marketing.

I’m looking to rent a room or buddy up with others to find a place in East Village, Stratford or the surrounding areas (Hackney wick), although I’m up to moving to a different area with good transport access if if I get on really well with the current flatmates!

My budget is up to £1080 excluding bills- I’m looking for a furnished double room in a flat that is bright and well maintained.

My name is Yanisha, I'm 26, and I work in communications/marketing for a mental health service in the NHS. My role is hybrid - I work in the office 2 days a week.

I'm a creative at heart, and love writing, reading, cooking, baking, going to the theatre, and museums- I'm currently learning how to play the guitar! I love having a cosy night in, but also enjoy going out for dinner and an occasional night out 🪩

I'm also super passionate about human rights and current affairs- I've just started a substack so I can write about topics I care about (racism and discrimination in the UK, colonialism, sexism etc.) I’m also a member of the Green Party!

I would love to join a flat that is looking to form a friendship with their roommates- Ilove having a movie night or watching a tv series together (like The Traitors!), whilst being respectful of each other's space.

Kindness, compassion, and communication is incredibly important to me when living in a flat share. I also take extra care to ensure that shared spaces are kept tidy and clean. I am looking for a relaxing and safe space where I can unwind.
