Easy going - Openminded

Hi, I'm Stuart, a retired, clean living open minded, extremely housetrained guy.
Following Joyce's advice " it is spiritual suicide not to follow one's own instincts ' , i fled the nest, found work which allowed me to act on that principle, (a seasonal employee for British Midland Airways on the Island of Jersey) and for six months of the year travelled the lands between the Bosphorus and south china sea. Once retired i combined my travels with various volunteering projects. Teaching basic English on the Indian subcontinent, helping erect emergency accommodation in post -quake Nepal , and working in Cambodian "soup kitchens".
However, having "done my bit' im looking to return to the U. K. During 2027.
My preference would be for a sparsely occupied abode with an on site landlord, as i feel that would guarantee a peaceful respectful ambiance. Regarding the exact date, and location, i'm very flexible, and am willing to wait for the " right" place to hopefully come along.
Over the years, i've housed, shoped, cooked, washed and ironed. for myself, and someone who, if needs be, is a capable 'handyman', Who finds painting , decorating and gardening therapeutic activities , gardening chap to have around.
My interests are reading , music, travel docs, walking cycling and conversation.
I have a pension, and am therefore financially secure, and, once accepted, would be willing to pay several months rent in advance if required.
All i ask, is the opportunity to prove the contents match the label.
During the Covid period, i found myself back in the U. K. and rented a house in the Scottish highlands from a lady who i feel sure would supply a reference.
