Looking for Quiet, Friendly room!

Hiya! I’m Kilian, 28, and I’m currently looking for a room in a relaxed, friendly house share.

I’ve spent the last few years as a live-in carer for my parent following a stroke. They’ve now regained a lot of their confidence and independence, so I’m finally looking to regain some of my own and find a place to call home.

I’m also a full-time Open University student studying Natural Sciences, with a focus on Biology.

As a housemate, I’m quiet, tidy and fairly independent. I’m perfectly happy keeping to myself most of the time, but I’m also up for chatting or hanging out with housemates when the mood strikes. I’m not really into drinking or partying, so I’d ideally suit a calmer household rather than a big party house.

I can be a bit of a night owl, but I’m very conscious of other people and use headphones, keep noise down and generally try not to disturb anyone. You may just occasionally discover that I apparently operate on owl time.

I enjoy art and illustration, DIY and crafts, gaming, nature and wildlife, and all things spiritual, witchy and gothic.

I’m mainly looking for somewhere chilled, respectful and tolerant where everyone can feel comfortable being themselves. Shared interests would be lovely, but definitely aren’t essential, and I’m equally happy living with people who prefer their own space.

• Available to move as soon as possible
• Prefer rent with main bills included: gas, electric, water and internet
• I can pay a deposit
• I’m unable to provide a guarantor
