Flatmate to have brunch with in Surrey Quays SE16

Note: I'm not here to look for accommodation, just a flatmate!

Hi! I’m Marina, 31, a scientist working across academia and the NHS. Outside work, I’m a keen cyclist, a “wish I were better” tennis player, a language enthusiast (currently learning Japanese), and a soprano singer in an ensemble performing traditional Far Eastern music.

I’ll be moving to London in September 2026 and I’m looking for another woman to buddy up with and rent a modern, spacious 2-bed, 2-bath flat, ideally in the calm and friendly Surrey Quays area (SE16). I’m aiming for a move-in date towards the end of summer, but can be somewhat flexible. I also have furniture to equip the entire flat, including the second bedroom, as my current flatmate is sadly moving abroad.

A little more about me: I’m currently focused on my career and wellbeing, which for me means eating well, staying active, reading, and spending time with friends. I’m Croatian, Catholic, and very close to my family, who live abroad, so I travel to visit them fairly often.

As a flatmate, I’m calm, tidy, and respectful of personal space. I sometimes work from home, but otherwise I have a pretty steady routine and usually go to bed by 11 pm. It would be lovely to occasionally spend time together as friends, whether that’s sharing dinner or starting a Saturday tradition of pilates or yoga followed by brunch, but I’m equally happy to simply have a peaceful flatshare with good communication and shared respect for the space.

I’d love to share with a like-minded woman, preferably of a similar age and stage of life. I’m also happy to live with a dog, but not cats, as I’m sadly allergic.
