PhD Student Rent from Aug 2026 in Edinburgh

Hello! I am a full-time PhD student at the UoE and am looking for a place to live in from mid-August (moving in before 23 Aug) for one year (12 months). I prefer 1b1b or a whole flat, but other room types are welcome too. I do not look for studios.

Priorities: I prefer communities near the George Square campus of UoE or central Leith (including the Leith Walk area). Other locations that are easily connected to the city centre (e. g., through tram) are also welcomed.

I live in the property every night and am quiet and tidy. I do not host parties, nor do I keep pets. I cook frequently but am good at keeping the kitchen clean. The landlord can rest assured about the intactness of their property. I am happy to submit a positive reference letter from my previous local landlord.
