Professional seeking Manchester room or buddy-up

Hi! I am a 24-year-old young professional and a recent graduate. I am working full-time as a scientist. Almost always on site so the flat will be quiet if you wfh.

I am looking for a double room or a friend (buddy-up) to move into a 2-bed flat or smallish young professional houseshare around South or Central Manchester (Chorlton, Withington, West Didsbury, Heatons, Levenshulme, Ancoats/NQ etc). Ideally, good transport links are a short walk away.

So here’s where I sell myself lol.

My main interest is music - I am a massive music nerd, a keen vinyl collector and love to go to gigs and festivals, so someone who loves music and would want to come to gigs with me would be ideal! Also ideal if you share similar a taste to me and don't mind me playing guitar and records! I have also been in a band and like to write, play piano and guitar, etc.

I can usually be found at the pub and I am big into beer, especially the weird craft stuff. Always down for a pints of an evening or wine/cocktails in or out. I love cooking (consider myself a good cook) and will happily cook for other people if you so wish! I love my coffee too and like to spend time at the weekend in a coffee shop and thrift shops/record stores.

Also getting into film and big into culture, travelling, languages and politics. Ideally, someone to move in with who I can have a good chat about life and culture with would be great :)

Usual things go about the fact I am tidy and a fun person to live with, but will always respect boundaries and preferences and expect the same back. I am super chill and flexible, but the main thing is good communication! I like my own company too but generally, I am outgoing and as described, mates to chat n grab pints with would be ideal. I am LGBT/queer so the usual caveats go about you being open and accepting.
