Joyful Aussie Looking To Create Flatshare in 2026

Hi, I’m Lizzie. I moved to Edinburgh at the start of 2025 from Sydney (I’m a senior marketing professional with British citizenship), and I’m now looking to create a more permanent, friendly flatshare. I’m flexible with move dates, but ideally hoping to find the right place in early 2026.

I’d love to live somewhere peaceful but sociable; a home, not just a set of rooms. I’m friendly and happy doing my own thing, but I really enjoy a chat over dinner, a shared meal now and then, or the occasional low-key gathering. I value my own downtime and respect others’ space, but I’m definitely a community-minded person who likes having someone around.

Outside of work, I’m building up my hobbies again now that I’m settled: I’m into pub quizzes, Sunday walks, going to the movies, and exploring Edinburgh. I’m slowly working my way through the pubs, cafés, and restaurants on my list. I come with some furniture and appliances, books, a record player, and my 9-year-old indoor cat, Freya, who is extremely chilled and will happily adopt anyone who lets her.
