Software engineer looking for buddy up/ room share

Hey, my name’s Oleksii (Alex), I’m 21 and currently living in Leicester. I’ll be moving to Manchester around the end of July as I’m starting a graduate developer role at Barclays in Radbroke for the next 2 years.

I’m mainly looking around South Manchester / Wythenshawe / Altrincham side, partly because my office is near Knutsford so I don’t want a massive commute whenever I need to go in, and also because there’s a large climbing depot nearby which would be ideal for me.

I’ll mostly be working remotely during the week, so I’m looking for somewhere comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere rather than just somewhere to sleep. Ideally I’d like a decent-sized room as I’ll be working from home a lot.

Outside of work I’m really into climbing/bouldering, hiking and mountaineering, and I also do Parkruns on Saturdays. I’m pretty active and sociable, enjoy going out for food/drinks, but equally happy with quieter evenings, movie nights or just chilling after work.

I’d say I’m tidy, respectful and easy to live with. I’ve lived with other people for years now so I always make sure shared spaces stay clean and organised.

Budget-wise I’m looking around £800 pcm including bills.
