Looking for a peaceful room in Edinburgh

Hi. Following a busy couple of years in the bustle of London, I'm looking for a peaceful room without lots of traffic noise, so ideally not on a main road unless in a rear-facing flat. Sometimes I work in my room.

I've a non-shedding dog, a springerdoodle called Curly, Curlington, Curlish… (you get the idea). When coming in, Curlster’s paws are cleaned with wipes and I keep a towel with me in case he gets wet.

I'm into the arts and am working on completing my own book and music projects. No need to worry about noise from bedroom production, as I have headphones.

I enjoy reading, nature, board games (Go, chess), badminton, pool, and of course good food. Who doesn't love good food, though? Right, Curls?

Happy to hang out, I also respect others' privacy and space. Easy-going, though I don't want to live in a wild party flat.
