Respectful NHS professional seeks rental room

Hello!
My name is Darren Banks and I am seeking a spacious single or standard double rental room with in a flat or home for a minimum of 6 months.
A bit about myself:
I am an American expat who lived in the South for a 18-year period, then after a few years' return to my home turf (California), returned to England last year.
I am a professional employed at Royal Bournemouth Hospital’s Pathology department after returning to the UK and have been living in shared hospital accommodation. I worked for RBH before my few years’ stay in Cali, thus I have a substantial work history there.
As a housemate/lodger, I am an easygoing, empathetic person, considerate, and conscious of keeping the surroundings tidy and in good order. I do enjoy time to myself and often spend my free days visiting my son and friends (read: out/away, not bringing anyone over); in fact, most weekends I will be away for such visits.
