Looking for room in friendly house/flat from March

Currently living in Bristol but looking to make the move up to Manchester fairly soon. Ideally looking for a good spaced room in a friendly house/flat share. I have a car so either a parking space or free on-street parking would be grand!

I would describe myself as a fun and considerate housemate. And at times rather goofy (try not to take myself to seriously). I enjoy cooking meals coupled with the odd glass of wine. Would be enjoyable to share the odd meal and bottle together! I am quite a neat and tidy person, so for example, I tend to do my dishes as I go.

I work for a housing association and as it stands work fully from home. This has always helped give me time to contribute to the overall cleanliness of where I live. I am however going to be looking for a new job once up in Manchester and I assume that would be either office-based or hybrid.

I tend to go to the gym in the morning or lunchtime and a run at some point during the day (weather permitting). During the summer especially I like to be outdoors a lot, whether that is hiking in the Cotswolds/South Wales or playing cricket on the weekends.

Reading is one of my passions so I have a wide-ranging arsenal of books that I am always happy to share out. I have a curious mind and love to discuss all things history, philosophy, culture and such.

I am also a pretty social person, so always up for a trip to the pub, BBQs, movie nights, a club night or festivals (especially a Pride weekend!)

I am a born and bred Bristolian, however I have spent plenty of time up in Manchester the past 10 years so I already have an existing network of friends and community there... but I am always looking to expand that with wonderful new people!
