Looking for flatmate to find a 2BHK together

Hi! I’m moving to Southampton in August and looking to buddy up with one other person to find a new 2-bed flat together rather than moving into an existing house share.

For me, this is as much about finding good company as it is about splitting rent. I’d love to live with someone friendly, considerate, and sociable where we can actually get along, chat after work, share interests, and make the place feel like home together.

I’d really like us to decorate and furnish the flat together from scratch so it feels like our space rather than just renting a room in someone else’s house.

A bit about me:

* 27/F; doctor in training - mostly work 9-5 with additional nights and late hours (but nothing constantly crazy)
* I’m clean and tidy; more importantly I’m very respectful of shared spaces.
* I am quite chill and outgoing but no longer a party person. All for hosting friends at the house or crashing over when necessary.
* I am queer friendly, pet friendly, aware of mental health struggles and basically a decent person . I read a lot (might fill up the flat with books oops), sleep a lot and cook for survival.

What I’m looking for:

* Someone respectful and easy to live with
* Open to becoming friends, not just coexisting
* interested in keeping the place tidy but chic. Let’s make a home out of a flat :)
* Similar budget and move timeline

Budget: £800-1000each
Areas: I need it to be in central Southampton (that’s where I work and I don’t drive🫣)
Move date: 1st of August (or end of july)
