Double Room Approachable to Stratford Wanted

I’m looking for a double room to move in from late September, so here is my ad. 😀

About myself: I am a PhD researcher at UCL, based mainly at Stratford/Hackney Wick campus.

My background is a mix of Architecture, Engineering and Biology, and in total have worked 4 years (in an architecture office for a year then in academia for three years ).

My current doctoral position has monthly stipends, and I am on a student visa till 2029 hence exempt from council tax. It would work better for me if monthly payment of rent is alright, instead of paying a few months of rent upfront.

I have stayed in UCL’s shared school accommodation ( shared kitchen and bathroom), in a shared flat with friends( they moved away after 1 year), with a family who has a baby ( the room became unavailable due to the little one growing up and needing more space of his own, I lived there for 4years, the couple also had a dog) and with an elderly landlord(65+, room became unavailable due to the sudden news that the properly has to be sold - 5 months of stay), and now I am coming out of a short-term arrangement and I’m looking forward to settle down. I am very adaptable to variously types of houses! 🏠

I do not smoke and am allergic to cats.
I have some green plants, and would like sufficient light to feed them well😎
I have a bike and it would be ideal if there is a place to store it dry.
I also play piano, but my electric piano has headphone connections, so I usually don’t play it with open sound. Volume is also adjustable.

I cook sometimes, usually mainly on the weekends for meal preparation for the coming week. But I am a very clean and a responsible person, I won’t leave a mess behind!

I can fluently communicate in English, Mandarine Chinese and Japanese.

If anyone have a bright room located somewhere easily connected to Stratford and Hackney Wick, please let me know!
