Remote Nonprofit Worker, 2 Cats, £1,200 bills incl

Hello! I’m Lola Kate, originally from the United States, looking for a calm and spacious home in Herne Hill. My budget is up to £1,200 per month including bills.

I come with two indoor purebred Persian cats, Milk and Minx. They are gentle, very well behaved, and good with other animals. They are a big part of my life, so finding a cat-friendly home is essential.

I work fully remotely in the nonprofit sector and have been in youth services and arts programming for over eight years. Because I work on Pacific Time, my Zoom meetings usually run between 5 to 8 or 9pm some weekdays. Outside of those hours, I keep a peaceful routine.

I have lived in Herne Hill for the past six months and really love the area. I am hoping to stay locally and ideally find somewhere long term, especially once my visa is approved.

At home, I value a calm, creative environment. I love a Sunday reset and keeping shared spaces clean and organized. I am friendly and warm but also independent and respectful of personal space.

Outside of work, I enjoy life drawing, making soaps and candles, baking, yoga, museums, concerts, theatre, and cooking. I am a great cook and love sharing meals and baked goods with the people I live with.
