30F Kiwi journalist looking for a new London home

Hey guys! Sadly, my current flatmate is moving back to New Zealand, which means my landlord has decided to end our flat tenancy 😭 So I’m now on the hunt for a new home and, hopefully, some lovely new flatmates!

MOVE IN DATE: Looking to move in between 15th to 27th of September.

ABOUT ME ✨

I’m a 30-year-old journalist from New Zealand and have been living in London for over a year now.

✨ Very social — I love a good yarn after work over a wine, a pub crawl 🍷🥂 or heading off on an adventure somewhere.

☺️ But I also completely respect having your own space. I’m very much someone who enjoys living with people and being social, but I understand we all need our alone time to recharge too!

🎶 Music/festival girlie — everything from Beyoncé and ABBA to drum & bass. I love a good festival or rave, so it would be amazing to find some like-minded flatmates!

🖤🤍❤️ I’m Māori, so I love meeting people from different backgrounds and learning about other cultures too.

I’m clean, respectful and looking for somewhere that genuinely feels like home, rather than just a place where we happen to share a kitchen.

💷 BUDGET - £800–£1,000 mark>pcm, although I’m willing to go a little higher for the right room and the right vibes!

WHAT I’M LOOKING FOR 🏡

✨ VIBES — probably the most important thing! I’d love to live somewhere where we actually become friends, whether that means having a wine together after work, going out for drinks, or just hanging out at home. Basically, I’d love a little flat family ❤️

🛋️ LOUNGE — a cute, cosy communal space for movie nights, socialising, or occasionally dancing around the living room for absolutely no reason 😂

🌿 OUTDOOR SPACE — not essential, but a garden/backyard with some grass would be AMAZING. Mainly because when summer rolls around again, I wanna pop up an inflatable pool out there 🤣🤣

🛌 FURNISHED DOUBLE ROOM — ideally a large double room with a wardrobe. I also have a small desk I’d bring with me.

🚊 GOOD TRANSPORT LINKS — I work around Oxford Circus, so ideally somewhere 5-10 minutes away from the Victoria or Northern line. I’d love to stay around South-West London if possible.

👯‍♀️ IDEAL FLATMATES — preferably late 20s to early 30s, social, friendly and keen to actually enjoy living together!
