Looking to Rent in South East London

I’m Issy and I’m looking for a flat or house share with friendly people in London.

I’m moving out of my family home in Brighton to begin a new job as a primary school teacher in Elephant and Castle this September.

A bit about me:

I’m a teacher, but also a professional singer.

I love people, I’m very sociable, friendly, and I’ve been told I’m funny… possibly because I paid them to say that.

I really value my downtime and being respectful of shared spaces, but I’d love to live with people I can get on with. As I’m new to London, it would be great to live with people who are happy to share recommendations, grab the occasional meal together, or help me discover some of the city’s best spots.

What I’m looking for:

A flat or house share with good transport links to Elephant and Castle.

A good-sized room is really important to me. I’m happy making my own life in London and keeping to myself when needed, so if a place is close to work and the room is right, I’m flexible about the social side of the house. However, if a place is a little further out, I’d love to live with people I genuinely get on with and can occasionally socialise with.

Budget: £900 max (bills included would be amazing, but not a deal-breaker).

Bonus if there’s parking available.

Ideally moving in late July, but I’m flexible.
