Looking for a room in North London

Hiya I'm looking for a place in North London (Ideally within a 20/30 minute cycle of Crouch End Clocktower - Near where I work as an art teacher.

A bit about me: I'm friendly and sociable, and like my own space too. Enjoy a pub evening or film night equally.. I run and cycle quite a bit and draw & shoot film photography in my spare time. I'd like to get to know people and make friends rather than just have a place to rest my head.

I get back from work Mon to Fri varying between 4.30 and 5.30pm. During the week I don't live the most exciting life and do most of my social stuff on the weekend. Now it's summer though that's slowly changing :)

I have lived between Haringey station and Haringey Green Lanes Overground station for 6 months and am looking for somewhere cheaper but same area as I currently pay just over £1000 pcm with bills - not fun.

Always up for exploring London & getting out into nature... A perfect afternoon is sitting in a London park with friends, soaking up the sun with a speaker.
