Looking for a nice double room in a friendly house

Hello!

I'm Juliette, 29, currently completing a PhD in French literature at Cambridge University. I'm looking for a nice double room in a friendly house, for at least a year and ideally longer. I'm pretty flexible on location provided that I can get into town easily and there is space to store a bike. If possible, I'd prefer to rent somewhere already furnished, with a desk and bookcase.

I consider myself a clean, tidy, and considerate housemate and value living in a comfortable and cosy space. Routine-wise, I tend to stick to office hours and to work from the department/out of the house, though I usually do a day or two of WFH per week.

As for me personally, I like reading, cooking, going to the cinema/theatre/museums, as well as just meeting up with friends. I am also a keen parkrunner and am hoping to do a bit more hiking over the next year.
