Dear,

I am looking for a place to stay in London, as I am moving to this charming place of a city to acquire my Master in Painting at the Royal College of Arts.

Prior to my painting studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, I have studied Philosophy, Film Studies, Comparative Literature (BA) and Theatre Studies (MA) at the Freie Universität Berlin, Germany and the McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

As I am 36 years old, I have consistently worked next to my studies in a broad range of different occupations. Most dominantly I have freelanced as a videographer for artistic projects and cultural institutions (Goethe Institute Taipeh, Cabaret Voltaire Zurich, Volksbühne Berlin). Next to this, I invested myself in the field of specialty coffee (the very nerdy end of coffee preparation) as barista, shop-manager and roaster. I also earned my living with art sales and a generous scholarship of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation.

I have lived and worked in a lot of places, thus, I have lived with a variety of different people. It is important to communicate transparent, honestly, and actualised, which sometimes is demanding, but equally enriching. I have found a ton good friends all over the world, which gives me confidence to say, that I am able to adjust to a wide array of circumstances.

I genuinely like to share time, space, and ressources with others - but I also like to commit to my own work. I read a lot, so if you are an avid reader, we will already have a lot to connect with. I also nurture myself on a plant-based diet for a loong time, I try to habitualise healthy means of living, which means I cook a lot (preferably with a whole bunch of fermented goods).

In terms of all-daily structures I like a peaceful, sorted and tidy environment - I confront myself with enough chaos when it comes to my artistic practices.

I am very open to all sorts of arrangements, but I prefer queer, cordial, and reflective beings over timid, judgemental, bigoted humans. Though, I am eager to discuss everything, as I presume myself to be far off from flawless.
