Looking for One Bedroom Flat or Nice Flatmate to S

Hi, I am Ali, a 27-year-old professional originally from Syria, based in Glasgow since 2024. I am looking for an ensuite room or a one bedroom flat in Shawlands, Hillhead, Kelvinbridge, Hyndland, or anywhere on the South Side with good local amenities nearby. Budget up to £750 per month.

I work part time as a Learning Resource Coordinator at and I am completing a part-time master's degree, so I spend a good amount of time at home and genuinely value a calm, comfortable living environment. I am quiet, tidy, respectful of shared spaces, and always pay rent on time.

What I am looking for is more than just a room. I am looking for a home in a neighbourhood with real community spirit, independent cafes, local shops, and the kind of streets you actually enjoy walking around. The areas I have listed all feel like that to me and I would love to become part of one of those communities properly.

I am a non-smoker, do not have pets, and I am flexible on start date. I am looking for a stable arrangement of at least 6 months. References from my employer and my previous university are available on request.
