Subject: Urgent Request for Accommodation
Hello,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out as I urgently need to find a new place to live due to some very challenging circumstances.
Upon my release from prison, I was homeless and had no choice but to accept my current accommodation out of desperation. This has unfortunately led to arrears, as the landlord charges £550 per month, even though I only receive £400 in benefits. This means that, in addition to the £350 he already receives from Universal Credit, I have to pay him an additional £200 from my £400 allowance, leaving me with just £200 for the entire month. This situation is unsustainable, especially since I am struggling to find employment.
I need a stable and affordable place to stay so I can focus on rebuilding my life and seeking employment. I am also working on rebuilding my character reference through voluntary work, but the current housing situation makes it impossible.
