Looking for a quiet houseshare or 'buddy up'

I am a freelance psychotherapist currently living near Ross on Wye and wanting to relocate to the Malvern/Worcs area to be closer to my friends and family. I work in Hereford 2-4 days a week. I don’t smoke. I have wanted to consider sharing for a while as I don’t think living alone - which is my situation at the moment - is a sustainable way to live in environmental terms, and I would like possibly a situation in which I could share resources. However I would still consider something more independent- an annex or studio. I consider myself kind, respectful as well as easy going and companionable. I do prefer a living environment which is pretty calm and quiet.
I am 56, in good health, reasonably handy practically and work quite flexibly doing some work from home online - so a good internet connection and enough space to work is important. I would prefer a room with an ensuite if a shared living arrangement. I am a Buddhist, enjoy nature and am quite bookish. I would also be open to a situation in which I could be of practical help/assistance and offer some companionship.
I would also be interested in opening a conversation if you are in a similar situation and would consider sharing in a joint rental of somewhere.
