Looking for a home with warm, inspiring humans

Hi, I’m Liya! Looking for a room within a 20-min cycle of King's Cross (ideally North or East of), available from September for 6+ mo.

I'm an expressive, deeply curious, warm, (com)passionate person. I grew up in the States to two Chinese immigrants, and moved from San Francisco about a year ago.

I'll be splitting my time between a funded neuroscience Masters and London’s music scene – I’m a jazz violinist and casual artist.

I care about being close to greenery (ideally large parks like Hampstead, Finsbury, Victoria Park), and quiet streets (quiet enough for contemplative strolls).

I’ll work remotely probably 2-3 days/week so appreciate:
– Natural light
– A nice shared living room
– A patio, backyard, and/or garden

It’s also important that I live with (ideally, vibey :)) people with whom I feel relaxed! I get along especially well with folks who care about making the world a brighter place (whether local/global, in/out of work).

I adore people and connection! I can also be quite focused.

I’m usually at the office 9:30-7pm Tue/Thu, more often depending on the week. I like rising early and starting days quietly—yoga, meditation, journaling.

When not working, I’m always down to hang and like being friends with my flatmates :) I don’t host many events, but when I do, they’re typically wholesome with early endings and cleanup. I do enjoy having people over and am chill with gatherings if you’re having them.

Outside the house, you’ll catch me at jazz jams, music events with friends, and spending afternoons sketching ideas/people.
