Civil Engineering graduate moving to SW London

I’ll be a 23‑year‑old Civil Engineering graduate moving from Edinburgh to start a full‑time role in London in early August. My office is in Epsom, so I need to be close to a train station that will take me there whilst also being close to other amenities. I’ll be working standard office hours Monday–Friday, so I’m out most of the day and pretty chilled in the evenings.

I’m tidy and respectful – one of those odd people that find doing the dishes therapeutic, never play loud music and I maintain a clean kitchen and bathroom without being nitpicky. I go to the gym often throughout the week, play football whenever I can (even though I’ve been compared to Yannick Bolasie if there was nobody else on the pitch) and always watch the formula one whenever I can. I’m quite extroverted - always up for a chat, pub and spontaneous trips, however I also respect people’s space and alone time. I don’t smoke and have no pets.

What I’m looking for:
• Budget around £1,200 pcm, ideally including bills and council tax
• South West London – ideally Clapham Junction / Battersea, however willing to look at places in Wimbledon and Balham
• Double room in a friendly, clean flatshare with other young professionals
• Move‑in from July 2026 to settle in before starting the grad job at the start of August.
