Hello lovely people! 😊 I'm Jake. I'm an American transplant (not a wrongun though...🙃) who's been living in the UK for 25 years, and see Brighton as my spiritual home. I would describe myself as easy going, chilled, open minded, interested and interesting, fun loving, kind, and self aware.
I have many interests from arts and culture to humanity, spirituality and ways of thought and being. Pretty much always up for a conversation, a laugh, music, cooking good food and enjoying this life.
I'm hoping to find a warm space in a home with like minded people/person who value privacy and shared respect. I love people (and animals) and am always looking for new meaningful connections. I try to be grateful for life every day and find humour in most things. Smiles and laughter are very much a part of my everyday happiness 😊
Accommodation wise, my main preferences are having some outside space, ie. garden, patio, etc and ideally a private bathroom. I'm an occasional smoker, but would only smoke outdoors.
In terms of living with others, I consider myself to be very adaptive, tolerant, tidy, and considerate as well as good company.
I am a carpenter by trade and so tend to be out working Mon-Fri making noise at other people's homes 😁As I've been in the building industry for 30+ years, I'm very handy with sorting out issues and fixing things around the house.
In my spare time I also enjoy being outdoors, in nature or town exploring, love swimming in the sea, taking photos etc. I also am a music lover so enjoy playing, instruments, writing, and dancing! Would love to be around any other creative people!
