I'm about to start a three year research contract with the University of Manchester on 1 April, 2026. I'm looking for a shared living space with friendly, open-minded and organised individuals for at least 4 months. I'm moving from Madrid, Spain. Although I've been to the UK before, it will be my first time in Manchester. I'm planning to visit the city ahead sometime in March.

I'm a 29-year-old from Brazil who enjoys cooking, dancing, all sorts of music and just having a good laugh in general. My hobbies include hikes, video games and crafts (mostly bookbinding). I've previously lived both alone and with my parter, and I value a cozy and tidy environment. I'm very open to socialising with my future housemates, but I'm also expecting to be somewhat busy during the weekdays with work, and I value some me time throughout the week to catch up online with my family, partner and friends abroad.

In terms of the physical space, what I'm mostly looking for is easy commute to the university. A living space with plenty of natural light (be it the room, a common room or a terrace/garden) is very welcome. I'm also looking for furbished lettings. Although I do not smoke nor have pets myself, the former does not bother me and the latter will surely receive lots of love from my part.
