Master's Student Looking for Room

Hi! I’m Brynn, a 34-year old woman going back to school for my master’s at the University of Glasgow in September. I’m posting early as I’m not looking to move until the end of August/beginning of September, but I wanted to get a head start on finding accommodation/potential flatmates as I’m moving from the States. I’m an amiable, introverted, cat-loving, crafty (as in arts and crafts), and bookish person who loves a quiet night watching a movie as much as the occasional night out with friends. I’ll be getting my degree in Fantasy Literature, so I suspect I’ll spend a lot of my time reading, but I’d also love to build community and experience all that Glasgow has to offer.

Ideally, I’m looking for:
- a flat in the West End/near UofG
- furnishings, including a bed and desk
- a private bathroom or shared with one other person
- a pet-friendly space
- a balance of social and quiet
- flatmate(s) who live in or near Glasgow and can tour in person and provide local insight

Negotiables:
- location - I’m up for a commute as long as I’m near public transit and a grocery store
- pets - I have a cat (George), who I may not be able to bring with me, so no pets is okay
- bathroom - I’m willing to share with more, for the right situation
