Postgrad looking for room from September

Hi! I’m Brynn, a 34-year-old American going back to school for my master’s at the University of Glasgow in September. I’m an amiable, introverted, cat-loving, crafty (as in arts and crafts), and bookish person who loves a quiet night watching a movie as much as a night out with friends. I’ll be getting my degree in Fantasy Literature, so I suspect I’ll spend a lot of my time reading, but I’d also love to build community and experience all that Glasgow has to offer.

Ideally, I’m looking for:
- a flat in the West End/near UofG
- furnishings, including a bed and desk
- a private bathroom or shared with one other person
- a pet-friendly space
- a balance of social and quiet
- flatmate(s) who live in or near Glasgow and can tour in person and provide local insight

Negotiables:
- location - I’m up for a commute as long as I’m near public transit and a grocery store
- pets - I have a cat (George), who I may not be able to bring with me, so no pets is okay
- bathroom - I’m willing to share with more, for the right situation
