Looking for a Double Room in East London!

Hello! My partner Zoe and I will be moving to London from NYC on 1 May and are searching for our next home. We are looking for a double bedroom in East London (ideally near Mile End, Hackney, Bethnal Green, or Shoreditch) that is at least partially furnished (extra plus if it has nice natural light and/or an en-suite bathroom)! We are open to short term or long term if the place seems like the right fit.

Zoe is a theatre producer and has a few upcoming shows/freelance jobs in the UK, and we will be moving on an HPI visa. We both will be looking for full-time work in theatre administration in London, and we have plenty of savings lined up to cover rent and expenses until we find work.

In our free time, both of us like to craft, cook, see theatre, read, travel, and spend time with friends. Zoe also loves dancing and yoga, and I enjoy painting and rollerblading. As we will be new to London, we hope to find a place with roomates who are interested in getting to know eachother and enjoy spending time in the communal space, possibly having occasional flat dinners or drinks, but also respect and appreciate individual time. We would love to live with others commited to making the place feel like home.

We are easygoing, clean and respectful roomates. We always keep common areas clean, take out trash, wash dishes, etc. We enjoy having friends over from time to time, but never too late and are concious of noise.
