Queer PhD Student Looking for Flat
Hi there,
My name is Aaron and I'm a first year PhD Student in the Film and Television Department at the University of Warwick. My PhD thesis concerns queer transmasculinity and trans men during the HIV/AIDS crisis. I live in Birmingham full-time and am looking for a queer flat to move into in summer 2026 (current tenancy runs out end of June but can be made flexible i. e. can extend it to the beginning of July).
I'm a clean and tidy individual, love queer community, making friends, and socialising/going out but also often hard at work during the week working on my thesis, either solitary in my space or on the University of Warwick campus (I commute by train). My research is archival, so I also commute to London occasionally as well as overnight trips to conferences/other research events. I love to cook, make crafts (cross stitch), do yoga, watch films/shows, go for walks, go to bars/clubs occasionally with a few close friends (all-female).
Attached are some images that hopefully show my personality, interests, and pursuits!
