Masters Student looking for flat in Bristol

I have just moved back to the UK from Greece and am looking at moving to Bristol to do a masters degree in September, preferably close to UoB/BS1. I've only briefly visited Bristol a few times before but really enjoyed it, so any knowledge/advice is welcome.


I'm big into travelling, all kinds of literature, climbing (both indoors and out), surfing when I can, cooking, the occasional video game, board games (more complex the better), movies/the cinema as well as anything and everything social. I'm easy going, cleanly, open-minded, laid back and relatively quiet...until I get into a good conversation.

Am looking for somewhere with a good kitchen & living space and don't particularly want a bland transactional arrangement. I'm a big extrovert. Would also like space for a half decent desk.
