Looking for a buddy to rent a 2bed room.

Hi! I’m a working professional based in Hull and I’m looking for another working professional to team up with to rent a nice two-bedroom flat/house in Hull.
I work full-time at the University and have a regular Monday–Friday schedule. I’m clean, tidy and respectful of shared spaces, and I’m looking for someone similar who would like a comfortable home rather than just somewhere to stay.
I’m hoping to find a modern, well-kept 2-bed property with a total rent of around £650–£750 per month, which would mean roughly £325–£375 each before bills. Ideally, we’d split rent and household bills equally.
I’m fairly relaxed at home and value privacy and personal space, but I’m also happy to chat, cook, watch something together occasionally, etc. I’d like the house to be friendly while still allowing both of us to have our own lives.
Ideally looking for someone who is:
- Working full-time / financially reliable
- Clean and considerate
- Respectful of boundaries and shared spaces
- Looking for somewhere reasonably long-term
- Happy to split bills fairly
I haven’t chosen the property yet, the idea is to find the right flatmate first, then we can look at suitable 2-bed properties together and choose somewhere that works for both of us.
