Inbound Master's Student Seeking Room or Buddy Up
Hi! My name is Erin, I'm 29 years old from the US and coming to Edinburgh for a Master's in Speech and Language Processing at UoE.
I'm looking for a room, ideally a double room, in a furnished apartment, to stay in for the duration of my program which begins 14 September. I'm looking to stay at a budget of around £700 pcm. Willing to come a bit early for the right place (i. e. ahead of Fringe). I am clean, responsible, love to cook, try new wines, hike, and explore/travel. I'd love to live with fellow postgrad students but this is not a dealbreaker. I will be busy during the weeks with school but am happy to find a flatmate that will want the odd movie night or shared meal in the evenings.
I am bringing along my two indoor cats, Espo and Milo. They have been with me for 7 and 8 years, are both neutered, litter-trained and very sweet. They’re very self sufficient and will be set up with automatic feeders, etc. They are well loved and cared for and enjoy joining for movie nights or working from home.
I don't often stay out late, I'm financially stable, organized, and just looking for a peaceful place to call home while I study. If that sounds good to you, send me a note and we can connect! Happy to join an existing household or buddy up to find one together.
