Looking for a home

Hi there, I’m Larissa, currently based in Dalston and looking to stay in the area or surrounding neighbourhoods (Stokey, Hackney, Haggerston, Canonbury, Highbury…).

I'm looking for somewhere I can genuinely call home. While I have my own life, I love spending time with flatmates and usually have become friends with them in the past. I’m hoping to find a clean, queerfriendly place where everyone is chipping in making it a home. Ideally with a living room and some kind of outside space. If on top of that you have a cat, I’ll be the happiest person in the world. Not a requirement of course.

A bit about me: I’m a PhD student in politics, but I don’t think I give typical student vibes. At 37 I’m probably a bit too old for that 😉Before starting the PhD, I worked as journalist for nearly 10 years, a job that is still close to my heart. When I’m not busy with the PhD, I love spending time with my friends, going to gigs, the pub, the odd rave and once in a while escape the city for a hiking trip. I love cooking (vegetarian) and baking – sharing a meal with my flatmates or hosting a dinner party makes me happy.
The boring stuff: I’m lucky enough to have a full scholarship which my last landlords/agencies accepted as proof of income. I can provide references, proof of savings and also a guarantor if that should be necessary. My budget is 1000 incl. bills (with some flexibility). Ideally, I am looking to move around the end of May, but I am very flexible for the right place. I don’t have to leave my current place, so really looking for the right vibe/people.
