Teacher (Salaried ITT) seeking LGBT+ friendly home

About me:

Hi! I’m Pete, a British professional returning to the UK after an amazing 13-year chapter working in education and law in Kenya. I’m starting my salaried teacher training (ITT) in Redbridge this September and am looking for a home to start this next adventure.

What I’m looking for:

I’m moving by mid-August and am looking for an LGBTQ+ friendly home with a community feel. I’d love to share with other gay men, but I’m mainly looking for a person or people I can be comfortable with and eventually call friends.

My Lifestyle:

I’m upbeat, professional and clean (I believe shared spaces should be a sanctuary for everyone!).

Hobbies: I enjoy keeping fit—mostly body weight-only home calisthenics, and some running and swimming.

Social: I like Netflix and reading (especially love stories!), theatre, and a good catch-up over a drink or dinner, but I also respect the need for "quiet time" (especially during term time!)

Work: As a trainee teacher, I’ll be busy a lot of the time, so I’m looking for a relatively calm environment.

The Ideal Room:

Budget: £800 (including bills).

Location: Gants Hill, Redbridge, Barkingside, or anywhere with a smooth commute to the IG2 area.

The Space: A decent-sized double room with enough space for a desk (crucial for my lesson planning!).
