Oxford DPhil seeking room near City Centre

Hi! I’m Rohit, a full-time DPhil student at the University of Oxford (St Peter’s College) in Inorganic Chemistry. I work most days at the Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory (South Parks Road, near the Rhodes House area), so I’m looking to move closer to the city centre to cut down commuting time.

What I’m looking for:
- A clean, quiet, en-suite room in a friendly house/flat (ideally with other postgrads/young professionals)
- Areas: City Centre / Jericho / St Clements / Cowley Road / Iffley Road (or anywhere with an easy walk/cycle to South Parks Road)
- Move-in: Last week of August - 4th of September 2026
- Length: one year minimum but flexible (short-term okay if extension possible)

About me as a housemate:
- Tidy, respectful, and easygoing; I keep shared spaces clean
- Quiet on weeknights (early lab starts), but friendly and sociable
- Non-smoker; I’m fine with occasional guests/normal household living
