31yo (she/her) - double room for long let 08/2026

Hi all,

My name is Claire. My current lease ends in mid-September, and I am looking for a new flat to call home! I would be happy to sign onto a lease as early as August 1st.

About me:
I’m 32yo woman, originally from the US (Washington DC), but I’ve been living in London for 3 years. I currently work for a local council, in office 1x per week otherwise working from home. So I would appreciate access to a desk I can use as a workstation.

I am a clean, kind, and respectful housemate. I’ve always become good friends with the people I live with, and love a good flat dinner/ movie nights/ trip to the pub. While I love a night in and cosy hobbies (cooking and recently embroidery), I also have my own community of friends and play ultimate frisbee a few times per week.

So why am I looking for new flat/flatmates?
While I’ve lived happily in a flat in East London for 3 years with the same 2 flatmates, my landlord has decided to sell the flat. My current flatmates have also decided they will leave the UK at the end of the lease.
