Furnished Double Room + Private Garden

Hi there!

I am looking for a flatmate to share my lovely first-floor maisonette in South Tottenham. I am Jan, an ex-teacher now working in education.

I am very tidy, respectful, and friendly. I love cooking, reading, and sharing the occasional dinner or chat, but I also really value quiet, clean evenings. I also do a bit of tutoring from home now and then.

The flat is shared just between the two of us, and you will have the whole first floor to enjoy.

The Room & FlatThe room is a bright double bedroom with a large window that gets beautiful afternoon light. It comes fully furnished with a comfy, good-quality double bed, a desk, and a contemporary clothes rail (though you are welcome to swap the rail for a wardrobe if you prefer).

The furniture needs to stay, so it is perfect if you are looking for a ready-to-move-into space. As for the rest of the maisonette, we keep it clean, tidy, and peaceful.

You will have full access to a modern kitchen with a washing machine and fridge/freezer, a shared bathroom, and a cosy living room. There are no upstairs neighbours, and we have our own private entrance.

The Garden & PerksOne of the best parts of the flat is the private front and back garden, which is entirely ours.
There is a BBQ you are welcome to use, and if you have a green thumb, you are more than welcome to plant your own flowers or veg. There is absolutely no pressure to help with the gardening if that isn’t your thing, though!

Location & Transport
We are in a fantastic, super-connected spot in South Tottenham:
A 2-minute walk to the nearest bus stop with direct routes to Seven Sisters, Tottenham Hale, Manor House, and Finsbury Park.
A 2-minute walk to Chestnut Park.

A 10–12 minute walk to Seven Sisters Station (Victoria Line and Overground).

A 12–15 minute walk to Manor House Station (Piccadilly Line).

A 15-minute walk to South Tottenham Station (Overground).Very close to local supermarkets, gyms, green spaces, and the Tottenham Green Market.

What I am Looking For
I am looking for a tidy, considerate, and non-smoking female professional or postgraduate student who is happy to help keep our shared spaces clean and looking nice. I am very open to all nationalities!

Just a few practical things:
a minimum stay of 3 months is preferred, and the room is for a single occupant only (no couples). Also, because of allergies, I unfortunately cannot host any pets.

The DetailsRent:
£1,000 per month, which includes absolutely all bills, council tax, and fast fibre Wi-Fi.

Deposit: £500

Move-in date: Available right now.

References will be required.
