Hey,

I’m a very young-at-heart 48-year-old. I love to eat and chat, but I also appreciate personal space. I’m quite active, gym a couple of times a week if time allows, and I walk a lot.

I love cooking with a wok, mostly Asian food. I really enjoy anything coconut-based, but I also make an excellent cottage pie. I’m totally fine with veggies and don’t mind going vegetarian with friends when I can. I have a lot of very good friends, both locally and across the world. I’m from a big family, so I love to give. ENFJ-A, if you know what that means.

I’m very clean - if your mugs are tea-stained, I’ll have them looking like new. And there’s nothing more satisfying than cleaning a window until you can’t tell it’s there… 😂

I love to laugh, and I love to listen.

I’m straight, but I worked in the gay scene for many years, so I don’t really care what someone’s preferences are - it makes no difference to me.

I grew up in Manchester in a very diverse area. I don’t really discuss politics with people, although I do follow them quite a bit, world affairs, etc. Each to their own, I say… but I’ll admit I’m probably not a great match for Reform types. I’d say I’m somewhere in the middle, leaning slightly left.

I worked in the music industry for many years and got to travel all over the world. Now I work on digital systems, from simple websites to more complex booking and management systems, as well as eCommerce and design projects. I also consult, providing brand and marketing direction. I work from home or wherever I choose to be.

I have a dog I share from a past relationship - Hugo, a 12-year-old spaniel who loves everyone, he is calm and is extremely well-behaved, very pampered and always clean. I have him about 50% of the time, sometimes a bit longer to accommodate my ex-partner’s work.

I recently had to move from a rental of 12 years due to the landlord selling up. I’d like to share with someone (or people) who appreciate working from home but also enjoy being social when work is done - hopefully with people who like dogs and would enjoy having a part-time pet around, along with all the affection and fun he brings.
