Looking for a flatmate // 2 bedroom

Hi, I’m Baek, a 29-year-old postgraduate student from South Korea. I’m happy to share with either male or female flatmates.

I have found a two-bedroom flat and am now looking for one person to take the other room. Each room will be rented separately under an individual agreement with the landlord, so we will not be entering into a joint tenancy together.

I’ll be starting an MSc at the University of Manchester in September 2026 and am planning to arrive in Manchester on 26 August. I would ideally like to stay until at least the end of September 2027, and possibly until December 2027 or longer, depending on internship or job opportunities after graduation.

I’m tidy, considerate and generally quiet at home, but also friendly and positive. I completed military service and have previously lived in shared accommodation with both male and female flatmates, so I’m comfortable living with others, following shared routines and respecting people’s privacy, personal space and daily schedules.

I usually keep a regular routine, going to bed around 11 pm to midnight and waking up in the morning. As a postgraduate student, I expect to spend much of my time studying at the university.

I’m particularly careful about keeping communal areas clean. I wash the dishes shortly after eating and mainly cook simple meals such as eggs, chicken breast and potatoes, so I do not usually make much mess in the kitchen.

I do not smoke and rarely drink. I’m looking for a clean, respectful and friendly flatmate so that we can both feel comfortable at home.
