Looking for a room! Late Aug/early Sept

Hi there! I'm Morgan, a 26-year-old Canadian events professional relocating to London from Vancouver in August 2026.

I'm looking for a room from late August or early September — ideally on a short-term basis to start (while I find my feet and explore the city properly), though I'm very open to a longer-term arrangement if the house and housemates are a good fit.

A bit about me: I'm tidy, considerate, and genuinely enjoy a friendly house atmosphere — I love cooking, hosting the occasional dinner, and exploring new neighbourhoods. What I'm really hoping for is a home, not just a room, somewhere with flatmates who are up for actually being friends.

I'm looking for somewhere with good transport links, ideally with a bit of green space nearby. My areas of interest include Hackney & Clapton, Clapham / Battersea / Wandsworth, Chelsea & Fulham, Hampstead & Highgate, and Highbury & Islington — but I'm open to other areas if the right room comes up.

Budget: up to £1,000/month bills included, though I could stretch a little for the right place.
