MArch Year 2 student looking for Buddy Up (Sept)

Hi! I’m Akib, a 27-year-old Architecture student entering my final year of Masters at the University of Edinburgh. I’m looking for a flatmate to "Buddy Up" and find a place together for the upcoming academic year.

Location & Timing:

My ideal spot is within walking distance of McEwan Hall / Bristo Square (Newington, Marchmont, Old Town). However, I am very open to looking further out if it means finding a higher-quality property with better amenities or more space, provided it has good transport links to the central campus. I’m aiming to move in early September before the semester begins.

A bit about me:

As a final-year MArch student, I’m quite dedicated to my studio work, but I value a clean, organized, and aesthetic home environment. I’m tidy and easy-going, with a professional background in architecture. Outside of the studio, I’m into fitness, football, basketball, and I have a keen interest in cars and horse riding. I’m always up for a chat about design or catching a match, but I also respect the need for a quiet space during the week.

What I’m looking for:

I’d love to find a flatmate (student or professional) who is respectful of shared spaces and keeps things tidy. I’m looking for a friendly dynamic happy to share a meal or a drink now and then, but equally comfortable doing our own thing.
