Seeking June 1 Sublet in North/East London

Hi! I’m going to be in London from June 1 - September 1 this summer, and I’m looking for a room in a shared flat. About me: 27, PhD candidate in English literature (Romanticism), friendly and outgoing. I’ve been living in a suburb without a car for the past four years so I can’t wait to explore the city and make new friends. I enjoy relaxing at home and making meals/watching movies/hanging out with roommates. During the day I will be at the library! I am always watching old movies, following women’s hockey, doing various graphic design projects for fun, and reading about/going to museums to look at medieval art. I love making ice cream and it’s going to be summer!

About the dream living situation: kind, welcoming people, tidy and respectful like myself. Ideally you’re also excited about sharing the occasional (or more frequent) meal and chatting. Show me your favorite movies! I love a cozy and peaceful home environment without a ton of noise at night.

My move-in date is June 1 (move-out September 1), and my max budget is £1000 per month. I’d love to find a place in North/East London, but I’m flexible on location because finding the right fit in a shared apartment is most important to me. Could this be you/your current flatmates? Let me know :)
