Looking for a room in a shared flat for September!

Hi Everyone! My name is Rose, I am 25 and from the US, and I will be starting a Masters program in London in September (studying Geographic Data Science). I am currently work in Boston in climate policy, but looking forward to experiencing a new country (and getting away from the craziness here for a bit)! I'm taking this summer off to travel across Europe, then will be starting school in late September.

In my free time, I love to be outside and active - biking, running, climbing, hiking, etc.. Excited to exploring London's parks and green spaces. Also really looking forward to the arts and culture scene in London (and the pubs!). I also cook and bake, so a plus side of living with me is the occasional sweet treat/baked good!

As a flatmate, I enjoy a social household that feels more like a shared home and always like to be friends (or at least friendly) with the people I live with. I enjoy a chat in the kitchen, a trip out for some pub trivia, or a movie night, but also prefer a calm, relaxing and quiet space during late evening and early morning hours. I like to keep my space clean and find it important to leave common spaces tidy and useable for everyone in the house.

I unfortunately won't be able to actually visit London to tour places until the end of August, but would love to meet any prospective flatmates via Zoom to see if it might be a good fit.
