Hi, my name is Alexander, I’m 19 years old, work at B&Q Gillingham and I’m currently looking for long term accommodation. I had to leave my previous home unexpectedly as it was unsuitable. In order to support me with this, the council had offered me a temporary accommodation until I can move into more permanent place. While they cannot act as guarantors they have agreed to pay for the first 6 weeks of tenancy. I also already receive the housing benefit to complement my income. So this will not be an issue to transfer. My father has also offered to act as a guarantor if necessary.

I’m ready to move quickly, can attend viewings outside of my work shift. However to facilitate viewing I’m currently on holiday.

My father is helping me move into independent living, and is very close and supportive of me. Im quiet, well mannered and reserved. I have few people I’m closed to, mostly family and I hope to fit in well within a shared space that is equality quiet and friendly. I have a good sense of humour and care about maintaining good relationships with everyone.

While I’m 19, I still require a lot of support from my father and step mother, so they will be fully involved in the process of me finding a new accommodation and I give full permission to communicate with them as well as with myself, so I can make sure I always understand processes and procedures.
