Room wanted in Cambridge – Sep/Oct 2026, 6 months

Hi, I'm Christian, 28y, an Italian postgrad researcher arriving in Cambridge in September for approximately 6 months. I'm looking for a single room in a shared house or flat with housemates who take care of the place.

About me: I'm tidy, respectful of shared spaces, and generally quiet during the week. I work long hours and value coming home somewhere comfortable. I enjoy a friendly house atmosphere, cooking together occasionally and a chat in the kitchen, though I'm not looking for a party house. I have connections in Cambridge and am happy to provide references if needed.

Location: I need to be within easy reach of the Computer Lab (William Gates Building, West Cambridge site, off Madingley Road). City centre or along the Madingley Road corridor work great, as does anywhere with a reliable bus connection to the West Cambridge site (Universal Bus / Citi 4 routes). Cycling distance is fine too.

What I'm looking for: A clean, well-maintained house with a landlord who is responsive and on top of things. Good natural light and a functional kitchen are a plus.

Dates: Flexible start between early September and October 2026, for approximately 6 months.
