Hi, I’m Norbert. I am a quiet and reserved person, trained as a caregiver for the elderly.

Currently, I am not working in my profession because my previous private employers from a minority religious community decided that my English was not yet sufficient for their needs. Taking this feedback seriously, I have chosen to temporarily step back from caregiving to fully focus on my personal development. I am now taking intensive English classes as a second language to reach a professional level.

Since improving my English is my absolute priority right now, I am looking for a household where I can truly integrate. I am a naturally helpful person, and regardless of whether my flatmate is young or elderly, I would be more than happy to help out around the house completely for free. I can assist with gardening, mowing the lawn, washing up, or any other household chores, as this is also a great way for me to practice the language naturally.

I have a real passion for keeping my home spotless – some might even find my obsession with cleaning and order a bit much, but having a beautifully clean environment is essential for me. I am also a vegetarian and live a very calm, independent lifestyle.

While I don't have a background in the arts myself, I deeply admire and look up to people who live and work with classical music, painting, or any form of art. Because I am reserved and focusing on my studies, I prefer to share a home with cultured, respectful people. Living in an environment where I can listen to educated language daily would greatly support my learning.

I intentionally use my reading to further develop and refine my English language skills; for this purpose, I am currently reading the Masnavi by the 13th-century poet, Jalāl al-Dīn Muḥammad Rūmi. It would be a wonderful connection if I could share a home with someone who also knows or appreciates his work.
