Looking for a Like-Minded Woman to Buddy Up With
Looking for a likeminded woman to buddy up and find a calm, respectful 2-bed flat together (ideally with 2 bathrooms because I really value personal space!).
About me:
I’m 33, originally from North East London, and I’ve lived in West London on and off for around a decade. I studied psychology at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and I currently work as a Health & Wellbeing Advisor at a university in West London. Long term, I’d love to train as a clinical psychologist and eventually leave flat-sharing behind for good!
I’m looking to create a home that feels peaceful, safe, clean, and mutually considerate — somewhere both people genuinely enjoy living.
A bit about me / what I value:
Politically left-leaning and would prefer someone broadly similar
LGBT+ friendly and supportive of people from all backgrounds
Neurodivergent
I value sleep and quiet evenings — usually in bed before midnight
Definitely past my partying phase; I enjoy the occasional pub trip or drink but I’m not into clubbing anymore
I enjoy music, singing, dancing, self-improvement, wellbeing, fitness, nature, animals, food, and travelling
During the day I’m active and enjoy listening to music, but at night I really appreciate a calm environment
I’m clean, tidy, and considerate, and I’m looking for someone similar
Good communication is really important to me — I value direct, respectful, emotionally mature communication over passive aggression
The kind of living situation I’m hoping for:
I’d love to live with someone who also values peace, cleanliness, and consideration for others. Things like excessive noise late at night, slamming doors, shouting, or generally being unaware of shared space tend to make a home stressful rather than relaxing, and I’d really like to avoid that dynamic going forward.
I’m also ideally looking for a female-only space with minimal male presence in the flat. This is important to me for personal reasons, which I’m happy to discuss privately with the right person. If your partner or male friends are likely to be around constantly, we probably won’t be the best fit.
About you:
Ideally aged around 28–38 (flexible if we seem compatible)
Professional
Non-smoker
Not into partying/heavy drinking
Respectful, self-aware, and considerate
Values cleanliness and a peaceful home environment
Bonus points if you’re also a bit of a retired party girl who now just wants a quiet life and decent sleep!
A few practical things:
I’ll need some time to save and would need to give around 2 months’ notice at my current place
I’d definitely want to get to know each other first before committing to a tenancy — coffee, a walk, a chat, etc. to see if we’re compatible
Looking for something long term rather than temporary
If this sounds like your vibe, please get in touch — would love to find someone likeminded and create a genuinely nice home together :)
