Embassy intern looking for furnished studio

Hi everyone! I'm Sara, a 23-year-old journalism student from Denmark.

This August I'm moving to London for a six-month internship at the Royal Danish Embassy. I'll be working in the Public Diplomacy and Communications Department from 1 August 2026 until 31 January 2027. It's an exciting (and quite busy!) opportunity, so I'm looking for a comfortable place to call home while I'm in the city.

I'm open to either a furnished studio, a bedsit, or a room in a friendly house or flatshare. Having my own kitchenette and/or a private bathroom would be a huge bonus, but it's definitely not a must.

As I'll be working full-time in Knightsbridge, I'd ideally love to be within walking distance, preferably somewhere in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea or nearby. I'm very open to other areas with good tube connections as well, as I'd like to keep any commute as easy as possible.

A little bit about me: I'm naturally curious, sociable, tidy and considerate. I love making wherever I live feel cosy and homely. During the week I'll mostly be at work, but outside of that I'm looking forward to getting to know London properly - finding great coffee spots, going to the theatre, wandering around new neighbourhoods and meeting new friends. That said, I imagine I'll also really appreciate the occasional quiet evening at home to recharge after some long days at work.
